Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. In addition to her graceful appearance, her steady success in the highly competitive world of film proves her skills as an actor. Young model she first began modeling in the 70s. Her popularity quickly grew in the modeling industry. She studied acting and theatre towards the beginning of the decade. She then appeared on stage throughout Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Russo's first film role was ABCs 1987 drama Sable, where she appeared as Eden Kendell. Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes in the UFC. She started her professional career as an amateur athlete participating in various regional promotion prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Namajunas has racked up a lot of attention since joining the UFC because of her outside and inside the octagon's success. Namajunas was born on June 29th, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. at the age of 18, she began her professional career with Invicta Fighting Championships where she fought two times by submission. This caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to join the UFC the strawweight division on December 14, 2014, when she was just 22 years old. Rose has been through highs as well as lows throughout her professional career, however, she has always come out victorious. In April of 2015, Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in which she was victorious by technical knockout less than 3 seconds into the first round One - becoming not only champion but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA because this was the only the first time that women was a champion within any major promotion organization around the world . In the aftermath of this win Namajunas went onto have several other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC in the wake of these wins .
